Daytime Running Lights

Hey, does anybody out there know how to disconnect the daytime running lights on a truck manufactured in canada? Any easy way or does it need to be re-configured? Thanks

Just unplug the Daytime Running Light Module (located under the hood on the driver side, just under the clutch reservoir. It should be a small black box with a multi-pin connector coming out of it. The disadvantage of unplugging it is that your high-beam indicator will not function. This can be fixed by using a jumper on some wires of the connector.

I connected the wrong wires and had a small fire which fried one wire through out my entire wiring harness to be careful! It's always harder to put the smoke back in than it is to take it out.

So what did you do about the high beam indicator, just forget about it? It is a weird circut, I can not get the light to turn on manually, I need a Diagram. So next question where is the best place to get OEM fogs and a switch?
