can't remove brake master cylinder

trying to change out my brake mc and the driver side stud/bolt spins and there's no way I can see to get a wrench on it.
anyone ever have this problem or have a solution for it?

pass side was spinning too but it's possible to get a wrench on it. appears that the reverse thread at top of fastener is meant to keep it from spinning but mine are somehow stripped.
even if I was to take the hydroboost out I still wouldn't have access to the head of this bolt, would I?

pass side bolt

on the driv side, the head of the bolt is recessed into the plate. how could you get a wrench on that?? for reference the adapter plate is the piece to the left of the screwdriver and the hydroboost is to the right
