Better Master Cylinder
After driving around with front brakes only (see my other brake post) I am wondering if there is a better master cylinder out there than the old style on the 1st gens. I can't believe how soft the brakes are up front, and I have all new brake stuff! Anyone tried an upgrade in this area?
I've got a mastercylinder from a P30 chvy chassis that I plan on trying, I haven't made it yet, just trying to get her movin again first, but when I do I'll post the results here. It's comparable in size, but has a bigger piston in it. But the bolt holes don't line up exactly I'll have to grind some but from comparing the two side by side, it appears it won't be that big of a deal and the housing diameter seems to be the same, so hopefully with some stretched mounting holes it'll slide right on. We shall see.
