A/C problems
Air not working on 98 12 valve. Checked low side pressure and it was around 45 psi. The compressor clutch is not engaging. I jumped the low pressure switch and it would still not engage. Any ideas on what to check next? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Adam.

Are you sure it's not engaging? I wouldn't think there would be that much pressure with the comp inop. Anyway, first check the fuses for the AC. If the fuses are good, then disconnect the harness at the compressor. Use a jumper wire and put 12V directly to the comp clutch(no need for the engine to be running for this, you will hear it clicking on/off). If it works, you'll be looking for a break in a wire, if it doesn't, the clutch coil is bad(this would be accompanied by a blown fuse).
