Bubbling Chrome Grill

I noticed today that the plastic chrome on the grill of my truck is starting to bubble. Does anyone know where I can get a decently priced quality replacement? Does someone make a stainless steel replacement?

Thanks
Dave

I think they got a run of junk from the supplier. I've replaced quite a few 2000-2001's for that problem, as matter of fact mine has a great big one on the left corner.

My 97 is doing the same thing! I have a new one in the shop ready to go on as soon as I get the truck back from the paint shop...

Mine is doing the same thing too. Mine is on the upper right corner. I wish I could peel all the chrome off and paint it.

Bubbling Chrome grille

My Dad's 94 bubbled when he hit it with a car wash heated sprayer at 10 degrees F last winter in Montana. He's still mad at himself! 94 2500 V10 w/65K miles. Its his baby!

My truck is doing this as well. I have been lookin around for a replacement and there are some cheap ones on ebay $50 for crome $29.99 for black.

I found a $110 chrome billet one at another site on ebay but didnt save the link.

Here is the linkfor the first two: http://search.stores.ebay.com/PERSHI...188856QQsofpZ0

Hope its ok to post it here. I have no affiliation with them.

If you were to do a search on chrome grills, the 2004 posts start on the third page. Not that much time needed.
