I just replaced starter in my 99 Dodge. After I got the new one on I went to start it but got nothing, except the airbag light stays on. I disconnected the new starter and turned ignition and the airbag light still stays on. I can hear clicking in fuse box of cab and have checked fuses and all are good. I had the negative connections off batteries when replaced starter. I could sure use some ideas on what problem might be...thanks

Are the battery connections are dirty?

 

Im at a total loss as to what problem could be. I replaced the clock spring and ignition switch. Cleaned the terminals. Checked voltage to the starter cable and its good. Rechecked fuses and relays. Swearing and threatening truck with shotgun haven't worked either. Its a 99 Ram 2500. Any suggestions would help..thanks
