As the title indicates, my airbag light came on Wednesday evening and it chimes every time I start the truck. There are no codes and everything else works. What could be the issue?

I would go with the clockspring. They are a recall item as well, might want to check with the dealer.

 

i have the same problem replaced the clock spring and my cruise works now but the air bag light is still on and it still dings.......... well it did i pulled the fuses and it took care of the darn dinging....if i got rid of the idiot light id be happy even if the air bag didnt work.......

 

which fuse did you pull to stop the ^$%# dinging, yesterday it was hot here and the stupid thing dinged all the way home, every 5 seconds!!! Can we pull the fuse for the airbag light and bag? I'm not a big fan of them anyways, at least not the "non intelligent" ones like we have.

 

i pulled both fuses, it dings at start up and thats it, most of the pulls around here make you pull the fuse anyways.......just look on the fuse cover, im sure there two of them lol

 

Well, I was about to pull the fuse cover and the air bag light went out for the last 2 days. I think I'm going to surgically remove it. Boy I love electrical issues...
