I have been hearing a chirping sound under the hood for a few days, today I am idling the truck and started hearing racket from under the hood. Shut her down and saw that parts of the belt were shaved off. (The belt and belt tensioer were replaced along with a new fan cluth and water pump 1000 mi ago)
I turned off the AC, and, restarted and the sound went away.

Guess it will go into the shop Monday. Looks like the AC compressor locked up? I have never had this happen before, but, have heard of it.
