Are 37's possible without a lift?
Are 37's possible without a lift?
I really want 37's but i cant afford more then a leveling kit for now, I will put a 4.5 inch on later but not yet. I would love to have the extra tire on some of the farm roads around here for the spring and have found a set that i really want, Baja Claws. I know i can put on 35's without and issue but would the 37's clear the fenders?
Thanks for the input, i can get either the 37" Baja Claws or 35" Nitto Grapplers for the same price and would rather have the 37's but if i cant i cant.

Do a search on this issue. There is alot written on it. Most if not all has to do with the offset of your wheels. But even with that if you get into a ditch, rut or anything sticky that will cause your axle to flex in the front and you have to turn you are liable to catch metal with 37's. Even the 35's can be a bit of a squeeze with the wrong wheel. Do your checking though don't take everything with a grain of salt and find pictures to maybe help you.
35" is the biggest with the stock suspension, and they will still rub when you turn sharp... They will hit the lower control arm on each side
37" no way.
Baja claws? .... I would not drive them on the road.
They catch every line/crack and pull the truck. (I drove 30K or more with them on road, not fun. All new front end on the truck)
Don't get me wrong they are a very good off road tire.
Sand, Mud, Deep Snow, ... I had bias ply 35x13.50x15's on a 95 ram 1500 4x4 360. Never got stuck! Well, nothing i couldn't put it in reverse and back out of. Excellent tires for ruts, sand or mud, 2wd most of the time.
