300,000 never looked so good.

Turned 300,000 on my baby the other day. She's a 2006 6spd. In 300,000 miles I have replaced

4 -batteries
1- p/s pump
1 -fass (with air dog) fass lasted 250,000 miles
1-- set of brakes
2 --sets of front shocks (air bags on back)
Rebearinged entire tranny (270,000)
2- dual mass flywheels before 100,000 miles Now have SB set up
1- windsheild wiper motor.
1 - #4 injector (under warranty)
1 set of u-joints
6 - fan clutch assemblies (no joke 6)
1 - radiator because of fan clutch
1- idler pulley
Just sent Edge Juice to be fixed after 270,000 miles

Most of this time pulling a 40ft gooseneck. Im gonna run her 500,000 then get her new paint job.

Glad to see someone getting some mileage out of an 06. Lots of people loosing rings, pistons, and all kinds of stuff that you would never see on the older trucks for the mileage their showing.

Hope my 06 does as good.

Forgot to ask, what you ran your juice on when towing and what were you seeing for EGT's when loaded.

Cool!

Man, you drive that thing!!!

I'm about to roll over 300k in a 96. Need to redo the driver's door hinge, just changed BOTH hood hinges, need cruise control troubleshooting. Other than that, good truck!!

Truck spends 90% of its time on level 2. Only went to level 5 when a tailgater needed some smoke.
The Juice should be back by friday. Edge charges $99 for repair - no matter whats wrong with it. Not a bad deal. EGT's running loaded - around 800. Loaded tall and heavy - 1000.

Nice rig - took me about ten years longer to pass that mark!

Really using the Cummins for what it's designed for....

+1 - They did the same for me.

I just hit 124K on my 01.5 - not quite the same rate of driving there.

wow thats amazing. the 1 set of brakes kinda baffled me then i realized on a truck thats towing heavy on the highway most of the time is not gonna use the brakes alot, just downshift.

good luck with her!
