03 shocks on a 97?

Hello,

I put a t rex leveling kit on my 03 which included new bilsteins. The factory 03 shocks only have 25,000 miles on them and my 97 shocks have 360,000 miles on them Will the 03 shocks fit on the 97? Both are 1 ton trucks.

thanks
Dave

I put brand new '03 shocks on my '95. The '03 owner installed a lift and didn't need the original shocks. The front ones looked exactly the same but the rears were about 1" longer than mine. I installed all 4 anyway and they seem to work with no problems.

I've found that factory shocks just don't compare to after markets. I think it's worth spending the extra $'s. Just my thoughts though.
