Where to have your tranny oil changed to synthetic??

Where could I take my truck to have my transmission oil changed over to synthetic???? Do we trust places like aamco?? Or do they even do that type of thing?

Most of us think for ourselves. I don't use chain places personally.

Any local garage should be able to fill it with any fluid you want. That way you have a mechanic doing it. Not a lube tech.

I believe that he is looking for someone to do a flush, not just a drain and fill. You will only get about 4-5 quarts out by dropping the pan and refilling. The entire trans and TC hold more in the 14-18 quart range during an actual flush. Just doing a drain and fill won't be "changing" your trans to synthetic fluid.

I second the idea to take it to a garage with a flushing machine. I am not a big fan of the $5/hour high school kid doing my tranny service.
