I don't know what kind of shape the '99 is in, but there's no way I'd sell mine for $10.5.

Thats the same thing I was thinking. If that 99 is in any kind of good shape, that is a steal.

Dang. I was so worried about the '53', lift pumps, & vp44 that I decided to go with the 12V (a friend talked me out of the '99). It was the ST with no power stuff, but Very clean... Sigh.

you can still get a 53 block in the 12 valve and plus you have to worry about the kdp {killer dowel pin}

You would have been happy with either truck but I think you got the better one with out the

KDP has been seen even up into the 2001 trucks, and the KDP is not the only thing to worry about, the bolts them selves are known to loosen and fall.
