Journeyman Precision Machinist / Tool and Die Maker...

The company I work for makes parts for defense and nuclear contracts....VERY high tolerances on most of the stuff....

 

hey ******, i am a tool and die man up here in minnesota, its crazy the stuff we work with, and then average joe is like "it ONLY had 1/4" of play"

I checked all the intercooler boots etc... Found nothing real unusual. Tightened a couple a little bit.

Took the inlet hose off again tried to find play in the wheel again... Found none..

Is there any other way to check this turbo??? The noise is still there under heavy boost. Although it seems to have changed pitch somewhat...

Anyone have any other ideas what to check???

 

Holeset.com has downloadable manuals for our turbos. They have all the info in them. Check it out!
