Truck quit code ?'s
Truck quit code ?'s
Friday on the way home i was rapping on my truck pretty hard in the snow, all of a sudden it sputtered and died and the cel came on instantly. I pulled the codes yesterday and got a p0236 overboost I think? and also it gave me a p0252 I cannot find this code in my book. It shows a 0251 and a 0253 in the book and has to do with the fuel injection pump. Can anyone help?
Not a dodge site but found this
P0252 has 2 entries :
Fuel Valve Signal Missing :
Problem sensed with fuel circuit internal to fuel injection
pump.
VP44 stuck fuel valve error :
Fuel solenoid circuit not detecting solenoid valve movement
and this
PO252, Fuel Valve Signal Missing
When Monitored : After current monitoring is complete. Average engine speed is above 700 RPM's.
Set condition : The ECM does not recieve a signal from the solenoid valve indicating valve movement.
Diagnostics :
With the DRB erase ECM DTC's. Test drive the vehicle. With the DRB read ECM faults.
Is the DTC PO252 present?
NO, Test complete
YES, Replace the Fuel Injection Pump in accordance with the service information.
