Transmission Temps?

I am wondering what the operating temp should be during normal driving and the hauling a 5th-wheel that weights 11,500lbs.

I am pulling a 9.5K fifth wheel. My temps will get to 210* when pulling heavily. Normal on the flat 180*.

Thanks, I have been worried when my reach 190-200 when puilling. Normal driving I average about 150-160. I guess I should be ok.

IF YOU GET UP NEAR 240 + THEN WORRY (the actual danger temp is 250*)

Pulling a 4 horse slant loaded in Colorado, mine never got above 140. I'm tapped into the line going to the cooler.

You'll get a "CHECK GAUGES" light at or above 233* F for the engine temp. For your auto transmission you'll get a "TRANS TEMP" light at or above 275* F....
