Transmission Temps

hey guys i live in arizona..and its starting to get hot out..when i am driving around without towing my transmission temps are about 190 to 220... it gets to 220 when i nail on it, is this normal? Is it going to go up alot if i try to tow with it? Also the engine temps stay between half gauge and the third mark(thats not towing anything just dd)...what does each mark stand for (what degrees)....when i get on it reall hard like to race it gets close to third line..I had my transmission rebuilt by a shop and they also built me a torque converter that was suppose to be better than stock..doesnt feel like it tho..
Dont want to hook up a trailer and blow something...

thanks for any input
Aaron

thats a little high. Where are the temps being monitored? Most of the heat in the trans is produced by a slipping torque converter.

He is really hard to get ahold of. I E_mailed him, and about a month later, I got an E-Mail back from him. After that, it only took about a day for him to answer my other E-Mails, but I think it is better to call him.

Just jeep trying, there is a reason why he is so busy.
