Transmission Temps.??????

Looking for the best deep aluminum transmission pan. I need to keep the temps down while towing my 5th wheel during the summer in Texas.

Has anyone used the larger pans? How mush of a reduction in temp?

04 3500 srw/sb towing machine.........

Have never used a larger pan but you want the double deep pan. The newer pans are already deeper than the earlier ones. I think it was 98 or 99 that DC increased the pan size.

click on this link www.genosgarage.com don't know if there the lowest priced but good people.

I have one of these, but honestly I can't tell you how much it cools the temps because I didn't have the transmission temp gauge until I installed it. I have towed some in VERY hot Texas weather and have never seen over about 190-200 degrees that I can recall. Hope that helps.

This DD pan holds 4 quarts over the stock pan.

You might want to look at a bigger and more efficient cooler as well.

I have the Mag-Hytec pan and my temps are around 150* constant. In the summer, it hangs around 160* or so.
