hey guys. i'm recently new to the 2nd gen 24v section and have posted a couple of times here recently about a new clutch for my NV5600. i'll be getting a southbend within the next few weeks and i want to be sure i'm getting the right clutch for what i've got. now, to brief you on what i've got.... my grandpa owned the truck before i did and back in '02 when the old getrag 5-speed blew out, he replaced it with the NV5600. being that it was purchased new and installed in '02, my assumption is that it's a '01 or '02 model trans with the 1 3/8" 10 spline input and the factory upgraded 13" clutch as opposed to the '98.5-'00 models which have a 1 1/4" 10 spline input with a 12.25" clutch. i sure hope and am positive that i have the '01 or '02. however, as i stated before, i want to be sure i order the right clutch. i crawled under the truck earlier this evening and was only able to see one ID tag on the belhousing up near the top towards the driver's side. i didn't see a date of manufacturing on this one though and i've read that there are 2 tags on the trans. i plan on crawling under from the passenger side and attempting to find the other tag. if i'm unsuccessful in finding the 2nd ID tag with the manufacturing date, is it possible that anyone can run one or both of the numbers i found? i'm guessing they're serial numbers and i may give my local transmission shop a call and see if they can use any of those numbers to get some info for me. TIA
