Grabber

My '99 dodge was stolen about 4 months ago and ever since i got it back it seems to have a little stutter when it shifts into 2nd. If I'm accelerating it sounds like it shifts 3 times to get into 2nd... or if im just coasting it, she switches back and forth about 400 rpms... if I'm WOT or close to, it shift perfect. All other gears shift perfect. If I put it in 1st it dont shift and NO stutter, if i put it in 2, it stutters during the shift same as normal. O/D doesnt make a difference. My insurance company says they will check it out when it goes in on AUG 13!!!! I'm afraid it wont last that long, especially when i have to tow. Any help?
