I have this shudder that I thought was at TC lock up but I took it to a tranny shop that I trust and know and he test drove it with the scanner hooked up and the shudder was 2-3 seconds after TC lock up. It is a very random issue and does not always do it. Said that all the shifts are tight and everything looked ok. Fluid was not burnt and looked great.

I assumed that the TC was failing but now am rethinking it. He said he had been fooled in a Ford before that it was the turbo shuddering not the TC but felt like TC... Could this be?

Truck runs great and I don't need to spend $$ that I don't have... The last time I looked at it there was just a hint of play in the turbo... any suggestions?
