Tranny Cooler Line Check Valve Removal

I had no choice but to remove mine because the threads gauled on it when i took it out. Now when i start the truck after sitting for any time i have to let it idle in N for about 30 seconds. I know it is ready when i put it in D and it jerks, if no jerk back in N til ready.

Well I ended up leaving it in. I was advised to leave it in by Suncoast. The new tranny is in and is working flawlessly.

Its not hindering anything in there. Mine would still be in if I didn't put the ported line in.

The check valve is the only thing I left stock about the cooler lines. I replaced all the factory hard lines with Double braid hydraulic hoses with JIC fittings.

I guess you need to change your sig now that you have your transmission.
Do you have pics of those lines?

Yeah I guess I do..thanks I forgot.

No I dont have any pics yet, but I can get ya some if ya want. I can work up a parts list also.

I used -8, which is 1/2" ID. That is the same size as the stocker.

I kept the stocker. So far the temp has not gone over 175. It will stay below a 100 while moving. If i get caught in traffic it will climb but then go down once I start moving.
