Lightbulb Track Bar- what took so long?

I can't believe it took so long for this to sink into my brain since I have had a DW since 2000. I bought my truck in the fall of '99. DW never really bothered me obviously and I had just learned to live with it. After reading all the new track bar threads lately I had a co-worker turn the steering wheel and I watched all the slopply play in the tie rod end of the track bar.

I went with a moog and the difference up front is amazing. I can actually tell that the front axle is soild and not moving left and right. Oh yea, I can actually relax while going down the interstate and wonder why I havent fixed the AC yet? No workey for 4 years but it's not supposed to be anywhere near 90 deg here in my part of Wyoming.

Yeah, I just ordered a Thuren replacement for mine. I was a little amazed at how much slop was between the tie rod ends, track bar and ball joints. My truck turned like my GSH listens, when it wants to! I can't wait to get it all tuned in. All w/ 66K miles, fortunately my extended warranty covers everything but the track bar. Kurt
