Angry track bar/panhard bar

does anyone know of an upgrade for the track bar? i've replaced mine twice in a year and a half. they are stock replacements from a local parts store. i would really like to find a heavy duty upgrade to correct this problem for good!!!!!

I have and would vote for the 03TBK from Solid Steel. Clears Mag-hytec pans and is good for lifts as well. Have had mine for over 40,000 Km with no problems at all, put that together with the DSS and you have a totally new ride.

Lukes Links here. I also got the neoprene bushing from them. They gaurantee it. Cheaper then a new NAPA part and will probably last as long as a high dollar one.

I had a luke's link before my 1st Thuren track bar (on my '01 truck). It was a nice upgrade over stock, but didn't even come close to what the Thuren bar did. The thuren bar was a whole different level above. I ordered one for my '95 before I even picked the truck up when I bought it.

Not trying to be rude, just stating my experience with both. If you want a great bar for a decent price, it is tought to beat Don Thuren's stuff.

I strongly second solid steel. I have upgraded to the 3rd gen "style" adjustible trackbar and the steering stabilizer. You cannot beat getting rid of any style ball joint on the trackbar.

I have the 3rd gen track bar with the retrofit brakets and the DSS steering bracket that I got from PRD. I thought mine was in good shape until I put the 2 kits on and now It drives like a new truck. I would NEVER go back to any kind of ball joint.

I have my flame suit on... I have had heated discussions about the bushings vs the ball joints..

My preference is the bushing, ball joints and salt in our areas eat up the expensive Rancho lifts I have seen on Jeeps and other units. The improved bushing material that SS offers in their bar is even more resilient that the OEM bar I installed.
