Sorry if this is the wrong section to put this in...<br><br>Well, anyways, one thing I have to say is that 6spd is not the easiest thing to race The best I could get was a 16.1 @ 88mph. I know the main thing killing me was the 2.7 60-ft. I was starting in 2nd gear aswell. I read about people using 3rd to start but I figured either the clutch or the tires would go up in smoke so I played it safe in 2nd. BTW, I wasn't out to break any records or anything, just to see what I could do.<br><br>Though I didn't run real fast I did get to have a little fun. I put about 5 lengths on a 7.3L PSD quad cab long bed auto He was stock though. That and I got a 350 chevy by about 3. That made it all worth while ;D <br><br>Anyone have some tips for taking a 6-spd down the 1/4? I'm all open for suggestions

 

me and my buddy took our trucks out last night to the stripe for the first time!! friday night up here r test and tune! $20 run as many times u can from 4 till dusk!! everyone was laughing at us until we got back from our first go at it! then we got back in line to go again everyone was coming over and asking stuff and saying way to go that is kewl it made me feel good for a change!! my best time was 17.125 at 77mph it surprised me i figured 18 or worse and maybe 70mph!! my buddy i raced with just got his truck back with a DTT trans fuel plate and 3gks i was right there with him on every run with only 275 injectors she still gets up and goes! i beat a rice burner in the 60ft mark it was great!! time for a DTT trans and lots of fuel and air!!!! mwwwwhahahahahah!!
