Themostat housing

Anyone have the torque numbers for the thermostat housing bolts? And is the gasket reusable like the first gen?

Thanks

From the 2001FSM: Tighten the bolts to 24 N·m (18 ft. lbs.) torque.

I did. As long as it isn't damaged, you can reuse it.

O-rings fail. I kept the one that went with the returned non-functional aftermarket tstat as o-ring isn't available by itself. Next, my tstat housing was leaking & I used some rtv as a sealer. Be careful rtv doesn't get where it isn't supposed to. You don't want it floating through your cooling system & plugging it up.
