Question swoosh noise, air rushing sound

When I accelerate everything is fine, boost is between 10-15, as soon as I let off on the gas (diesel) pedal, I hear a swooshing/rushing sound of air. Running factory intake and i can also hear turbo whine, though not very loud a all, where as before I couldn't before. Any ideas?

Sounds normal really. Do you only get the sound if you let off fast?

barking the turbo is essentially air going to wrong way..... boost is built up and flowing like normal, you let off the skinny pedal quick and the "boosted air" (for lack of a better term) still needs somewhere to go, so the excess pressure is forced back through the turbo. my truck does it if i have that pedal laying on the floor and i let up quick. it isnt good for the turbo so dont try to do it, just be cautious when letting off the skinny pedal.

sorry for the spelling, kinda tired.

jrsram,
Is it loud? Swooshing and a good turbo bark don't sound the same.
At only 10-15psi boost you wont get the barking at all.
that starts around 25+psi.
What are your add ons?

If you feel that is really a problem go with a good wastegate. it will help clear it out. unless i am not understanding your problem.
