stock turbo residue?

just changed the oil in the truck...had to remove the hose which feeds the turbo in the process i noticed that the turbo housing on the inside is getting a little dirty. light mist of dark dust. it easily wipes off with a rag. anyone have this...is this the norm... should i be expecting bad to be happening soon.

thanks for any input

It's from your K&N.

it's oil from the K&N... put a BHAF on it if you don't want to see that anymore.

Will this hurt anything. I've noticed an oily film in mine also and figured it was from the K&N filter but wasn't sure if it could damage anything. I think I read somewhere that it causes problems with the IAT sensor but I'm no sure.

I believe it can cause some problems w/ the IAT...

if you're worried at all, I'd just run a BHAF
