Slave Cylinder? (First tow truck ride ever)

I also used a South Bend unit. The main thing to remember is the master is clocked where it goes into the firewall. I did mine without wearing my glasses and nearly drove myself nuts till I got my glasses and realized it is a clocked fit.

About an hour if you wear your glasses, three if you don't.

Mine went out with no warning, pulled up to a stop sign and pedal popped to the floor. It still worked partially, I could stab the clutch and grab 2nd, then shift through without the clutch. $275 from dealer, I bought a master cylinder but there is no bleeder on the slave, so i had to take back

It doesn't need a bleeder.

It's very easy to bleed actually.

Just tilt the cylinder 45 degrees and fill it with fluid
then reattach the hose.
next, remove the cap on the master cylinder,
pump the cylinder SLOWLY while an assistant watches/fills the reservoir.
Reinstall the slave and your done.

That's it.
