Yes towing, mind you it was a smaller trailer (12') but we did the calculations based on 4.5 ltr's in a gallon and .625 miles in a km

What were you pulling on the trailer? A 40mph tail wind?

Sounds pretty optimistic, but I wasn't there of course.

Just saw a commercial on the TV the other night where RAM was advertising 36mpg on the new 1500's. They must come standard with a 50mph tail wind!
