Trouble Codes for a sick truck

When I checked the codes it is showing me the following:
P PCU
P 0500
P 1693

P ECU
P 1693
P 0216
I found the 0500 codes at tech support, but not the 1693 or the 0216.
What are these codes and what do these do?

From what I have learned here the 1693 and 0216 are the VP44 death codes.....
Do a search on these numbers and you will get a lot of info......

yup 1693 is just a companion code which tells you there is a code stored there.

the 0216 means the injector pump is on it way south. not a cheap fix...save your pennies, looking at about $1k for parts, and at least a few hundred for labor unless you are an experience mechanic that wants to tackle it yourself

Have same codes and have just started looking around , am learning alot from you all and just got the bad news from my dealer am 2 mnths and 9000 miles out of warranty and they wnt 3200.00 for recon pump and new in tank lp
looked around web can get Bosch with HP LP and low pressure light for 1200. all I need now is someone to install
