Angry I'm Sick And Tired Of This

Can anybody tell me "WHY" last week I paid $2.55 for diesel and today it's $2.89 a gallon!? We've had NO * hurricanes, NO bloody oil refinery fires, NO major catastrophies of any kind, but for some reason were getting @ the pumps again! What gives? I know alot of people are going to be traveling in the next couple of weeks, but this does not give the oil companies the right to do this to us again!

I'VE HAD ENOUGH!

Well, you paid it didn't you?

If you paid it, than obviously you haven't had enough yet.

So how about somebody writes a full guide to SVO installation or biodiesel manufacture so that we can solve the problem. Please, pretty pretty please? Somebody? Please?

Being from California you are probably not aware that some of us have to heat our homes, and some of those homes are heated with the same stuff you put in your truck. Greater demand + lower supply = Higher Price. Kind of stinks sometimes. Oh well...

What's even worse is the oil companies throw it right in our faces when you read about their record breaking profits.

They'll use any excuse to justify the high price.

What's the answer?

Hondo.....It's the oil companies who determine how much oil is drilled and refined per day.

I'm sure if they wanted there would be a surplus.....what do you think the chances of that happening are?

Hey guess what...We are being Edit by the oil companys. Its pure greed and profit. Aint know way Diesel should be more money than the cheapest gasoline. You got it right. We all are being ripped off by the oil companys...

The oil companys will raise prices if one of their secratarys gets a paper cut or needs a Edit. Yes we are being riped off.

Nice one Bill. You act as if he ran a few businesses into the ground before or something?

Wait a minute............

We are creeping, and at a slow pace upwards here. It hasn't been all that cold either (yet).

I'm supposed to be moving into a house heated by oil too, it actaully has oil heater hot water too.

Double whammy for me I guess.

The commodities brokers on Wall Street set the price of oil/gas futures which drives the prices up or down.
I'm sure the Hot Line from the White House Oval Office to the Oil Futures Trading Pit on Wall street has been ringing off the hook.

Oil companies are businesses, in a very cutthroat industry... Profits fund R&D, and enable them to retain their best people... All business are out to make money.

Apparently higher fuel prices hasn't stopped people from driving 80+mph on the highway.
