I've had my 98 Cummins for several years, and have reset the APPS a few times. This time I've tried to reset it, but it's still having the same problem. Anybody have any ideas? I'm thinking of trying the APPS ground bypass, anybody else tried it? Any problems?

 

What kind of problem is it specifically? Our tannies weren't known for being too good out of the box, so they have many issues. Is it hanging in gear, hunting, shuddering, not locking up, etc.?

 

try cleaning battery cables and post really really good. if its like surgeing have to clean mine about every 6 months.
