New angle on APPS problem

The truck has been running great no problems then the other day the check engine light came on. DTC has a # 0122. I was having the same problem with my APPS as it seems that most have had. I reset my APPS cleaned my DTC # 0122 but it came back the next day. The truck seems to drive alright but I don't like the CEL being on. So last night I went out to adjust my APPS. I started by checking the voltage on the orange wire with blue tracer pin #23. The post says look for .5 volts but all I got was .273 volts , I double checked it. Any ideas?

I actually just adjusted mine last night. Hooked our modis up to it, and backed out the idle screw till it was just beyond 0% throttle. I then undid the APPS and what ya have to do is find out what voltage is on the back of the sensor. Hook your multimeter back up to the orange wire and move the sensor back and forth until ya get a reading close to what it says on the sensor. I set mine a little low. I then tightened up the sensor and turned the idle screw to dial it in perfect (.542Vdc for mine). clear your codes and ya shouldn't havea problem. Mine hasnt messed up at all so far today.
