Wanting to understand the difference in preset voltage in apps from dealer, the ones I have seen range from .61,.54,.52 I know the ecm needs a signal to determine fuel delivery What I see when the truck is at idle, there is a small movement in the bell crank before it affects idle. If you adjust the set screw to take up the slack before it rises rpm ,I now it will change volt setting, but will it increase throttle response and increase torque curve just off idle?

 

What I did when I readjusted mine. I got the idle screw close to preset before adjusting the APPPS, that way I fixed the code, and I had good response out of my pedal. I adjusted it before and had a bit of a dead spot at idle in the pedal and it drove me nuts.
