replace the slave cylinder?

to replace the slave cylinder, do you have to pull the tranny?

also, would it be better to just replace the master and slave?

i cannot figure out whether or not the tranny needs pulled and am no where near the truck for awhile

any help would be greatly appreciated

I'd say replace master and slave.

You do not have to drop the tranny. It's a 30 minute job, even if you take a 15 minute break.
