I run the spin-on filter>LP>spin-on filter and then the factory fuel filter.

 

Thanks for the info, this gives me some great ideas as to what i can come up with for a system. I never really thought about filtering the fuel before it enters the lift pump, but it seems like a good idea. Maybe non filtered fuel running through my fathers fass pump is what killed it in only a couple of years.

I feel stoopid now. I was checking my posts and saw that I read FUEL filter but my brain(or lack of) told me OIL filter.

 

go to tractor or highway tractor wreckers ,bought mine for $20 filters are cheap,you just have too look around for ones that can be fitted.

 

What is this place that you are referring to?
