...I'm looking for a remote oil filter mount kit for my '04.5 600. I haven't come across anything other than the Amsoil remote filter and bypass filter kit.

I just want to relocate the existing single oil filter. Anyone had any luck with this?

Buddy of mine did the Amsoil deal a couple of months ago on his 04. He found a guy that made up a nice bracket for him. Pretty well done all in all.

I can get you in touch with him if you like. The Amsoil stuff was rather pricey, but the bracket wasn't too bad at all.

I am curious as to why you want to relocate the oil filter --- can you tell me why

 

just a hunch, he wants to relocate it so it is easier to get to when performing service. Stock location is a big pain in the keester.

 

AMSOIL does make just a Oil Filter relocation kit it's BMK-14 for our trucks.
