R NV4500 and NV5600 bells the same?

for the cummins too of course. i guess really what i need to know is will they bolt up the same. i think i could deal with subtle differences. I've got a bell less 4500 and have found a really good deal on a 5600 bell. this is for a 4bt swap i'm doing. i couldn't find info on this anywhere using google to search.

thanks brent

I don't understand. You have a bellhousing for a NV4500 and want to get a bellhousing for a NV5600 ?

They won't bolt to other bellhousings, they are different from each other.

they interchange i went from a 4500 to a5600 and only changed the clutch due to the larger input shaft already had the flywheel. this was on an 03 with a 12v conversion

the 4500 i have has a v8 bell so that won't work. i was wanting to use a 5600 bell and a 4500 tranny on a 4bt. i will probably need to change the input shaft to make this work since it's a light duty 4500, but i wanted this tranny for my t-case to work. i have access to a 5600 bell for 25 bucks so i'm hoping it will work.

A quick google search answers this.

NV5600:

NV4500:

Bellhousing on the 5600 bolts from inside to the tranny, while the 4500 is bolted from outside the bellhousing. The engine adapters are the same, but the bellhousing is not.

nope, those two are for sure not the same. confirmed it else where too that no versions were. so it looks like i need to find a HD tranny bell and that's all there is to it.
