NV4500/NV5600 same shift lever

I am looking to 'bend' the shift lever on my NV4500. A guy has one already bent but it is from an NV5600. Are they interchangeable?

I dont thnk so, but I ws able to use my 4500 shifter in my 5600 with alittle ingenuity. The bolt pattern was the same, but the cup /ball was different. I made my own cup.

Most people will say they dont interchange but it is possible.

The shift lever is one inch shorter on the 4500 vs the 5600, but they will thread onto each other.
1320, you adapted the shift housing and the lever? interesting.

I had a bd short shifter in my 4500 and when I cnverted to the 5600 reused it. I actually used a socket to solve the problem. I dont remeber the size, but somethng like a 5/8's . I also cut my original shift lever and welded on a different end to use a large t56 shifter ball with the 6 speed pattern in it. Some careful welding and grinding and some black paint and its really hard to even tell I did it.
