Quick Piston Question

If anyone has had their 24V apart, I have a question about the pistons. I have a bare block on my bench right now and I know it has oil squirters on the main webs. I was wondering if the pistons have a channel on the bottom where the oil is supposed to hit and circulate through the piston in order to cool it. Thanks in advance.

I don't think so. I think all that happens is the squirter just squirts oil onto the bottom of the piston and that's it.

My TDR says that the pre 05 HO piston's have the oil channels you are talking about, but i don't know if that includes the second gen 24v HO's.
