About what ball park figure is the PO216 going to cost me?Is it best to use dodge dealers or Cummins dealer or try and find some independent repair shop?Any body else been down this road with the truck of there dreams?Come on fellows I need some input on this problem.

16,000 miles and still going on a p0216. $500 for aftermarket lift pump and nomore problems. Assuming that fuel pressure is the problem the cost goes up from there as you will have the bomb bug.
If you get a p0216 due to a bad lift pump it doesn't always mean that you have a bad pump, what it DOES mean is that the pump was starved for fuel bad enough that it caused it to malfunction. This also means it WAS starved for cooling and lubrication neither of which add any to the life or reliability.
