Check engine lite on code PO122 throttle position sensor what does that mean the trucks running fine

 

P0122 : Throttle Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Low Input

This is a code that suggests there is an issue with the Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor which is located under the rounded black cover next to the oil fill cover. If you are not experiencing any issues, I recommend you follow the Apps reset procedure as outlined in the attached link. I also recommend you thoroughly clean the battery terminals, and cable ends, including all ground connections as well.

i had a "CEL" and the codes listed here, speed sensor and voltage too high, i cleaned all my grounds and ended up installing a timbo APPS

Followed the apps reset procedure and problem solved. The surge between gears at 40 mph is gone . thanks for the info. Love this website
