showing P0500, P1594, and the generic p1693.....

truck looses pedal, but it comes right back, CEL clears after cycling switch 2-15X

P1594 is charging system voltage too high.
P500 is no vehicle speed sensor signal. (you can also get it by spinning the rear wheels)

Loose your tach at all? if so, look at cps

 

Tach seems solid, i have noticed, that my truck seems like it is "hunting" gears while cruising on flat terrain @ speeds between 40-60 mph...Also forgot to mention, i have good fuel pressure 12psi cruising and around 8-9 @WOT

 

due to the fact that my truck was "hunting" gears, i cleaned all my grounds, w/exception of the two under the head-liner...i think there were 15-16 other grounds, i also ordered and installed the "timbo APPS" replacement...and i believe this has rectified my CEL issue, as it has not occoured in over a week (was happening daily) ...i also replaced both neg. batter clamps while checking/cleaning my grounds...i have not had the p1594 code since....

had several people tell me that the "APPS" would not throw a "CEL" well i believe it was the cause of the error code, time will tell, but for now i'm making smoke with out concern
