Please give advice on building new truck
For the past year I have been driving a truck that I thought was perfect for me, but fate, or attention deficit, has led me to a more perfect-er truck.
My current truck is a black sport 2002 2500, quadcab, longbed, 4X4 with a six speed. 205K miles. 3.55.
My new truck is a like new, black 2002 3500, quadcab, dually, 4X4, automatic with 44K miles. 4.10. (That's 44,000...I didn't know these odometers could show only five digits)
My first thoughts were to move over the 6 speed. But I'm not sure how well a six speed works with 4.10 gears. Do I move over the tranny, or the tranny and gears? What would you do (yes, you)?
Any and all opinions are helpful.
Thanks in advance.

To update...I now have both trucks and have to decide what I'm going to move over, but I need some advice on interchangeability and desirability.
My old truck is a six speed, so it is an H.O. The new truck is an automatic so it's an S.O. Will the S.O. engine be okay with the 6 speed?
Which turbo should I use? (They are both stock).
The transfer case behind the six speed has no CAD, will it swap with the one behind the auto and how will the ECM or PCM deal with it?
I guess I will leave the stock S.O. injection pump, but can I move over the BD injectors?
I plan on building the best daily driver I can. I don't care much about MPG. I drive 99% intown, most of the time I'm empty. I pull a single car trailer once a week on average, huge fifth wheel once or twice a year. I want something fun and comfortable to drive
Thanks in advance.

my 6 speed is a horrible Daily driver. seems in tow I'm never in the higher rpm's. plus the shifting constantly and making my DDisc clutch hot. I would look at keeping the auto in what you have. build the tranny, a tighter tq-converter. put some sticks in it. 62/68/14 turbo or simular. a fuel/timing box to wake up the bottom end. or a smarty. but this is my ex, driving my 02. 6-speed for the last 6 years. prior to this was a 24 01 and 04 that were auto's.
if you towed much or alot the 6 speed would make more sense. hope this helps.
