Yes that is the only code with the key turning, the engine check light is not on but maybe i should plug in my OBD tool and check. will let you know what happens. When you say communication from PCM, maybe i will check the plug connectors also.

 

If i was looking for a display to try in my truck, what years did they all fit? Mine is an 01 2500

 

Well I unplugged the main cable going into the ECM on the engine and pulled the fuses for instruments out on side of dash panel, and plugged them all back in and my overhead console has been working for a week now. Must have needed a reboot or something.
