Overhead Computer Displays "CCD"

Well I just bought my first Cummins about a month ago and love it. Its a 2002 Quad cab, short box, 24v. Unfortunetly a few weeks after I bought it the overhead computer will only display "CCD", Has anyone else had this problem? If so what is the fix?

Thanks,
-Brian

I had a buddy with this problem it stands for I think Chysler Collision Detected and his come on after he hit a deer. Some said to wiggle the wire harness under the steering wheel and there might be a loose connection or something

CCD is the Chrysler Collision Detect bus. Basically just a fancy name for the communication protocol used between the computers, instrument panel and overhead console.

If you see CCD on the overhead, it means that the overhead doesn't have connectivity to this bus. If your instrument panel is functioning normally, then it may just be a loose connection on the harness feeding the overhead. It plugs in under the dash, near the fuse box.
