i have codes p0622 and p1693 and on my overhead it shows ccd i have gone through the posts to see what it is and everyone says what the code means. i know what it means i just want to know what everyone who has had this problem did to fix it. dont say clean grounds make sure conections are right. i just want to know what exact wire was causing it for you.

I doubt if anyone can do your diagnois down to the exact point where a wire is shorted. You might secure a FSM as a great aid. Code P0622 has to do with a generator wire shorted! Is the alternator working correctlly???

yea as far as i can tell, my gauge show its in operating range

P0622 : 0B : GENERATOR FIELD NOT SWITCHING PROPERLY; Mil on : K125 circuit wire possibly rubbing againest the air box bolt, cause a short to ground.;Follow all appropriate diagnostics for the fault that is present.
