oil switch?

I just wanted some other opinions about switching from rotella t to a synthetic oil. My 01 has 107000 miles on it and always had rotella t in it what do you think about switching it to a full synthetic motor oil is that a bad idea, or what do you guys think. If i do switch iam gonna use schaffers 9000 5w/40 full synthetic. ?

Dad and I switched both of our truck with around that many miles on them, with no problems at all. We only switched to go longer between changes. That's the only way to come out on syn. oil. JMO

In some engines, synthetic will find leaks where none existed before. Not always.

I'd say that my experience was the opposite.... less oil leaking. My engine is quite clean - just one little drip that I haven't been able to pinpoint....
Oil consumption dropped too.
