Dodge $400. Napa $315. Kenworth NW $102 for the sender. Since replacing mine the new one is more sensitive and gives a better reading in my opinion.

Mine was doing the same as yours, pegged or nothing.

When I replaced mine on my 2001.5 this summer, the new one took a different size deep socket than the old, which I didn't have, so it took an extra trip into town ...

seems cheaper to get mechanical one that will give you true readings

yes it probably is. but i want my truck to look like it did from the factory. i like the look of a clean dash, not cluttered with guages. However i am gunna put a temporary pressure gauge in to check it since i jsut got done rebuilding the engine.

Oh, by the way, the new one looked a little different than the old one, but mine actually took the same socket, I think 1 1/8" deep. Make sure it is a two wire and has the correct end. Also you should write down the CPL ( Control Parts List) number from your engine to make it easier on the parts counter and to make sure you get the right one! I also keep my engine serial # written in the owners manual for such times!
